Chelsea Waterfront (Showhome)

The Chelsea Waterfront project, envisioned by the distinguished architect Sir Terry Farrell, is located in one of London’s most remarkable and desirable areas. Spanning 11.3 acres and encompassing 600 metres of riverfront, the site includes the historic Lots Road Power Station, noted for its two iconic chimneys, which have become significant landmarks in Chelsea.

Hospitality Projects was tasked with designing and crafting custom furniture for two showroom apartments within Tower East, which offer sweeping views of the river. Our goal was to harmonise the interior design with the surroundings while blending contemporary luxury with comfort. We collaborated closely with Lucarna, the interior design firm behind the apartment’s concept, to bring their vision to life.

In the second apartment, we furnished the living room with a media unit and bookcase, both incorporating integrated warm LED lighting on the shelves. We used Decospan’s pre-finished laminate to enhance the aesthetic. For the principal room, we crafted a tailored headboard wall with brass trim, complemented by a curved upholstered headboard, designed with cutouts for sockets.
For the first apartment, we designed a bespoke upholstered headboard wall for the master bedroom, featuring antique brushed brass frames in both horizontal and vertical flush designs. In the second bedroom, we created a 4’6″ (double) upholstered headboard wall with dark brushed bronze frames, adding an elegant touch to the space.

We also created a winged upholstered curved headboard and bed base, along with bespoke dressing joinery, including a desk with shelving units illuminated by warm white LED lights. The shelves were backed and featured soft-close drawers with brass handles, while the desk was finished in brown oak to coordinate with the end-of-bed bench.
